The new issue of Creative Knitting is out!!! After much waiting, the magazine is out. There are some nice patterns and articles. You can see two of my designs in there, the green zip vest, and the baby hoodie. I'd like to know what you think of the designs, so please feel free to comment!
It is a shame they will only publish a magazine yearly! Maybe there is room for a new knitting magazine in Australia?

Knit Creations
Today, I visited the Stitches and Craft show, hoping to see many yarn stores, but I was quite disapointed. There were two nice yarn stores, and some good knitting books, but everything else was related to beading, card making, quilting, etc.
All the same, it was nice to be out of the house with a friend talking knitting stuff!
The elongated stitch cardigan is coming along nicely.

The dragon for my son is going well, head and neck are done, now I'm working on increases for tail and big belly. Legs and arms will be knitted separately and joined later.

Knit Creations

Hello, This is my first post. In this blog I will share with you my latest knitting designs from idea to creation.
The project that I am starting now is a cardigan knitted with garter stitch and elongated stitches knitted sideways, with a shawl collar in 2x2 ribbing. I am still unsure of the details, but at this stage I am thinking of knitting fronts and back in one piece, sleeves and collar band separate.
